On Saturday, Deputy President William Ruto extended his charm offensive meetings and visits to Nakuru county.

Among those who accompanied DP to Nakuru included Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi.

Speaking during the meeting, Sudi who had conspicuously missed out on most of William Ruto's campaigns warned Ruto against clinching to the seat past two terms should he get elected in 2022.

Sudi who excluded confidence of Ruto's election, warned Ruto against misusing his powers, adding that a time will come when he will have to vacate office and leave power to young leaders like him.

"I want to tell Ruto that he is going to be elected in 2022 but when his time comes to leave, he should leave and leave power to some of us," said Sudi.

At the same time, Sudi urged Ruto not to neglect Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui when he takes power in 2022. The MP described Lee as his good friend but expressed confidence that Susan Kihika will defeat him in 2022. He however promised him a job in Ruto's government.
