Ruto's ally and member of parliament for Soy Caleb Kositany has responded to the Embakasi member of parliament Babu Owino who had asked Uhuru to protect Raila votes. According to Kositany, Uhuru Kenyatta is not powerful to direct Chebukati on anything for IEBC is independent.

According to Kositany, the results are already in the IEBC portal hence the only Babu Owino and Uhuru Kenyatta can do is to count them and give the country their results. It's clear, Azimio leaders are claiming they won the election without figures.
At the moment according to Kositany, Uhuru Kenyatta cannot help Raila Odinga for the numbers are in the IEBC portal. It's evident Azimio leaders are trying to ask Uhuru to intervene forgetting the presidential results are in the public domain and Kenyans have counted them.
Facts as stubborn as they are, it's clear what's happening at the Bomas of Kenya is only the verification of results as per what's on the portal. What's evident at the moment is that Kenyans know the incoming president based on the results posted in the IEBC portal and Uhuru cannot change such.
