The Kenyans are headed for the next year's general election.The elections will be conducted on 9th August 2022.The electoral body IEBC has thrown spanner in the wax by declaring that all the elective posts will only be available for the degree holders.However,the politicians are doing everything possible to thwart the policy.
On the other positive part,the Commission has said that it is determined to conduct free and fair election come next year.It has revealed that the servers that were serious bone of contention will be made available to Kenyans.
The anti-BBI team is celebrating the stoppage of the BBI reggae.The court of appeal is set to either dissapoint the proponents or the opponents.All in all,one side will celebrate whatever judgement that will come forward from the court.
There have been calls by some Jubilee allies to postpone the general elections from August next year.Francis Atwoli has been very vocal on this by declaring that without BBI,elections will not be there.
DP Ruto from the onset had opposed this move.Fortunately,Raila Odinga's allies have also maintained the same sentiments as DP Ruto's.Junet Mohammed has said that the party opposes this plan.This has now silenced the Jubilee diehards since the duo are the major presidential contenders who have massive followings.
