It is about a month now remaining to the most waited event of the year, 2022 general elections that anticipated to take place on second Tuesday of August. Following this, all contenders are in rush hours to make their names famous in order to be considered that day. Eventhough the hottest contention seems to be presidential fight, other county leaders are not Left behind, they also struggling to win more.
Naisula Lesuuda is a Member of Parliament for Samburu Central after securing this position five years ago after a narrow win against his close competitor Hon Lati Lelelit. She did this under the shade of JUBILEE being led by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Once more, Naisula is attracting good number of voters as she wait August election to vie again the same post but under the shade of AZIMIO LA UMOJA led by former prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga. According to micro polling done Samburu Development Forum (SDF), where a small portion of people (1000) is given a chance to vote for their next MP, clearly gave Lesuuda another possibility hof retaining her post after leading with 61% leaving a wide gap between her and Elly Loldepe with only 16%. UDA aspirant Raphael lenayiara emerged third with 14%, others are Lolmodooni Peter and Mark Lenolkulal with 5% and 2% respectively.
