As the 2022 General elections are getting closer, several leaders have expressed their ambitions and interests in various Governmental seats in which they will vie through to get into the next Government.
The Senatorial race will be competitive, especially in Murang’a County where top leaders are very determined to convince the residents to vote them in rather than their fierce rivals.
An opinion poll was carried out by Mizani Kenya polls in which several Kenyans participated in selecting their preferred candidate. According to the polls, current Senator Irungu Kangata will easily will the race as he garnered 47.6 per cent votes.
The other competitors fell below the 20 per cent mark as Kembi Gitura came in second with 15.1 per cent, Irungu Nyakera in third with 11.3 per cent and the rest fell below the 10 per cent mark.
This will be a one man race which will not be hard to decide if people of Murang’a went to the polls. Like, Comment, Share and Follow.
