As reported by Tuko News, chebukati has left everyone With chills after disclosing the killing of Aspirants whom the IEBC had already cleared to vie for the seats.
Chebukati also Said that Elections will not take place in four wards in the country following the death of aspirants whom the IEBC had already cleared to vie for the seat. As stated, it is a suspicion of fraud by the rival aspirants who may be using all means to eliminate their Closest rivals.
The wards include the Thaana ward in Mwingi West, Kitui county, Oloimasani ward, Emurua Dikir Constituency in Narok, South Gem in Gem, Siaya and Utawala ward in Embakasi East.
"We shall communicate via a gazette notice when said elections will be conducted," IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati said.
Furthermore he directed the investigation of the killings to determine the lawbreakers and be brought to book. This had since escalated tension among the voters given that its only a few days to the polls.
