Political analyst Gabriel Muthuma, has addimited that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader is currently in a better position of achieving his political goal, which is to capture presidency.
Speaking on an interview with KTN news television, Muthuma said that Raila alias Baba is currently on a good mathematical chance of capturing power than the previous polls.
According to him, it is clear that Raila's association with the President is to eventually get his backing for the top seat next year. If he achieves that goal, then he will be in the best position of winning presidency.
The endorsement by the president plus the backing from other National Super Alliance (NASA) principals, then he will be mathematically in a strategic position of winning the presidency.
Since he will be able to get some of the votes from Mt Kenya region, which he has been lacking for the previous polls. Hence achieving a portion of Mt Kenya region votes could guarantee Raila presidency next year.
