While acknowledging greetings from traders and residents at Kabati, Kenol, Murang’a County after the launch of Spirit TV - a local television station, the tangatanga brigades from Mt Kenya were left fuming after the DP Ruto hinted at his presidential running mate.
According to Ruto, he hinted that the UDA is likely to give a chance to other communities to be his deputy in 2022 as he claimed that UDA does not agree nor accept tribal politics.
The DP added that he has no obligation to choose his deputy from other parts of the country as he added that the UDA party is ready to work with well minded leaders to improve the economy.
The move by DP statement left the Tangatanga brigades fuming after they claimed that the Mt Kenya region represent the the largest share with vote registration and thefore they urged the DP Ruto to ensure he picks Hus running mate from the Mt Kenya.
