Expect to Hear From Us on Thursday Morning, Angry Raila Says Ahead of His Planned Mass Action

Raila gives Ruto until Wednesday midnight, March 8th to respond to Azimio's demand or face consequences.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga and his entire battalion have given President William Ruto up to today midnight to respond to their demands or else face consequences. The Azimio camp had given William Ruto 14 Day Ultimatum to ensure that the subsidies are returned, the hiring of IEBC commissioners stopped and he opens the IEBC servers.

With time running out, and with no response from Ruto, the Azimio team through its leader Raila Odinga has come out giving Ruto only 24 hours to respond or else he faces serious consequences.

While speaking at Parliament Buildings on Wednesday, March 07, Raila remarked that time was running against the head of state who was yet to address grievances raised.

“The deadline is today at midnight, so expect to hear from us on Thursday morning, March 9,” the Azimio leader cautioned.

In his remarks fueled by his humiliation yesterday at the DCI where he had gone to stand with former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi is likely to make things worse. His push for mass action yesterday received a major boost after the Jubilee Party through Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni said that they are ready and are Just waiting for Raila to speak.
