Dennis Itumbi has become the latest member of Kenya Kwanza to comment on the ongoing debate about IEBC preparedness to handle general elections. The debate started when Azimio said that Chebukati must avail both manual and electronic voter register. Dennis Itumbi has now castigated Raila Odinga for the requests made to IEBC.
Dennis Itumbi has said that Raila Odinga should stop threatening about elections. Itumbi has asserted that the elections must happen as scheduled on 9th August 2022. Itumbi said that the elections are being held in accordance to laws and regulations set by IEBC.
Itumbi has added that Raila Odinga and Azimio team can threaten but cannot dictate to hustler nation on elections. Raila Odinga has not though threatened to boycott the elections but rather asked Chebukati to ensure that the elections are free and fair. Both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza have been accusing each other of planning to rig the general elections.
