Azimio la Umoja's presidential running mate Martha Karua attacks deputy president William Ruto during her campaigns in the Mount Kenya region as she hunts for votes to boost their ambition of seeking to form the next administration ahead of August general elections.
Consequently, the rivalry between the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and the Azimio la Umoja rises amid the struggle for votes culminating in the popularity of their agenda.
Perhaps, the Mount Kenya region remains a rigorous zone between the two camps strictly after Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto picked their running mates from the area.
Additionally, President Uhuru Kenyatta had pledged to hunt votes for his deputy William Ruto during their previous campaigns from 2013 to 2017 but unfortunately, the two parted ways in the second term.
However, Martha Karua asked the Mount Kenya region not to choose anyone just because he was promised votes.
This generated mixed reactions among Kenyans as they gang up to mock her as they call for the fulfillment of the promise made.
Here are snapshots of part of the reactions.
