Despite being the backyard of President Uhuru Kenyatta, Kiambu has seemingly opted to support UDA party. This was evident on Monday evening whereby two female politicians from the voters rich Kiambu ensured that this county is painted yellow and green in unity with UDA party

This is Anne Wamuratha who will be the flag bearer of UDA in the Kiambu Women Representative as well as Alice Ng'ang'a who will be the flag bearer of UDA in the Thika parliamentary race. The two leaders pulled huge crowds as they toured Kamenu, Kiganjo, hospital ward and Thika Town as area residents came out to hear them out.
This was hours after the Wamuratha and Alice Ng'ang'a had been cleared by IEBC for their respective contests thus it was more of a celebration rally. The two did not shy from campaigning for Deputy President William Ruto who is the UDA party leader in the race to Statehouse
