While addressing residents of Juja constituency and fellow mourners during the funeral ceremony of the late Juja MP Hon Francis Munyua Waititu, President Uhuru Kenyatta took a moment to passionately praise the MP for having been an exemplary leader.
The President who took the microphone to speak at around 12:55PM before the start of a church service remembered Hon Munyua as having been a close friend of his with their friendship dating back to some years before his Presidency.
He also remembered him as having been an able leader who loved his job and citizens of all classes and would always help those that reached out for him without hesitation.
That as a result, Wakapee was able to be elected as an MP for two terms something which is rare in Kiambu county because Juja residents saw substance in him.
On that note, the President said that "Wakapee has taught us that we can be leaders that fulfill their promises for their people, leaders that value peace, leaders that are humble, leaders that can unite others and that can demonstrate servant leadership."
The President also promised the family of the deceased that he'll offer his support to them whenever they need him as he told Juja residents that he'll make sure that Wakapee's projects like those dealing with water and tittle deeds are seen through.
