Political tensions in the country are expected to soar in The next few months with the elections poised for August this year. Deputy President William Ruto and Odm leader Raila Odinga are expected to battle it out in a two-horse race to replace President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ruto has been very vocal against The ODM leader and the President as he continues to allege that the President is pushing for Raila's presidency.
The ODM leader is reportedly keen to vie using the Coalition party of Azimio la Umoja which is looking to bring ODM and Jubilee together ahead of the polls.
The two camps have recently clashed over the proposed Coalition Party Bill of 2021. Ruto's Camp had initially vowed to shoot down the bill or delay it to avoid it being passed into law.
However, the Hustler nation side is said to have changed its stance and are currently negotiating with their counterparts to find a middle ground ahead of this week's seating.
According to Aden Duale, they are close to finding a point of consensus.
