UPDATE: President Ruto Suffers a Setback as UDA Allies Defect to DAP-Kenya Party

President William Ruto has received a major setback after allie from United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party on Tuesday, 29th November 3022, defected to Democracy Action Party of Kenya(DAP-Kenya).

A section of Ruto's allies from UDA on Tuesday defected into DAP-Kenya and were received into the putfit by Wafula Wamunyinyi in Bumula Constituency.

The defectors vowed to rally residents of Bungoma behind the party's candidate & ensure that Wamunyinyi wins the Bungoma senate seat to replace National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula in the forthcoming by-elections.

In addition, they reportedly claimed that President Ruto's UDA party lacks dempcracy thus their move into DAP-Kenya party.

"Party leader @wamunyinyi this morning recieved defectors from uda party in Bumula constituency. The officials said the wheelbarrow party lacks democracy and want to be part of Kenya's 5th biggest party. They vowed to ensure Wamunyinyi wins the Bungoma senate seat," reads an update by DAP-Kenya party.
