Online reactions to the Raila-led Azimio La Umoja coalition's decision to bypass the obstinate Hon. Babu Owino in key committee leadership in the camp have been mixed.
The leader who has since considered becoming the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman was not included in the recently suggested list outlining the division of leadership positions within the coalition. Hon. John Mbadi was nominated to fill the PAC position in that was made public today, October 31st, and will be assisted by Tindi Mwale (Butere MP).
Babu Owino, backed by Senator Ledama Ole Kina, accused the Azimio Coalition of marginalizing important supporters who backed Raila Odinga during the campaign. The newly listed leaders are probably going to be in charge of Minority Committees at the National Assembly, therefore his hopes of leading the aforementioned position look to be in the rearview mirror.
Hon. Caleb Amisi, Hon. Lesuuda, and other well-known politicians are among those who have made the list.
