Vocal Governor Who Defected To UDA Floored By ODM Senator In Latest Results From Narok

Governor Tunai at Karen weeks to polls

Governor Tunai of Narok has today lost his bid to unseat the current senator for the area Ledama. The vocal governor having defected from his Jubilee party days to the polls and was granted a direct ticket to contest for the senatorial seat in the area.

Today however ODM's Ledama Olekina declared winner of Narok Senate seat after garnering 135,180 votes. Samuel Tunai of UDA came second with 117,869 votes. The win seen as a huge statement to the governor who had exuded so much confidence that he will win the seat and serve for another five years.

Ledama has taken to his social media and thanked the people of Narok for the trust they have bestowed on him saying that he will serve them without discrimination. The gubernatorial seat however was won by a UDA aspirant after defeating the ODM aspiring in a race that was so close to call.
