Today the former prime minister Raila Odinga landed in Isiolo county for political engagements. He is expected to launch his Azimio La Umoja manifesto in the county. Several leaders and delegates from the county and entire region will attend the launch.
The former prime minister Raila Odinga and his team landed at Isiolo airport ahead of the launch. The ODM party leader was warmly welcomed by North Eastern leaders led by Finance cabinet secretary Ukur Yatani. Regional and local leaders were also present in the airport to welcome the former prime minister.
Other North Eastern leaders who welcomed Mr. Odinga includes: Host governor Kuti, Garissa governor Korane, former Garissa governor Nadhif Jamal, Garissa legislator Fatuma Dhulo, Hon. Halakhe Dida, Hon. Godana Doyo, CAS Boya and other elected leaders from the region.
The former prime minister is accompanied by leaders from different political parties. The leaders includes; Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Kieni legislator Kanini Kega, CAS Racheal Shebesh, CAS Beatrice Elachi, Hon. Raphael Wanjala, Homabay women representative Gladys Wanga among other leaders.
2022 Presidential succession politics and regional politics is set to dominate in the Azimio La Umoja launch.
