Deputy president William Ruto has confirmed the ANC party leader and Musalia Mudavadi have joined him not as contender but as his supporter to his statehouse bid. Speaking today in Kiambu, DP Ruto made it clear Musalia is a great blessing to his statehouse quest and he was greatly happy for such.

This therefore confirms Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula will not contest in the 2022 general election rather will stand and back DP Ruto to the end. It just confirms they are not competitors with William Ruto but on the contrary they are his supporters.
This deal has been secret as it's clear most of the people have always thought Musalia and Wetangula are statehouse bid materials as well candidates. The fact that they have joined Ruto to support him without asking of their position in government just confirms of the turn of events unfortunately.
It's not yet clear of the deal that Musala has been promised by Ruto or the gain he has gotten but it's clear he is moving forward as his supporter. However as always it's a fact only time will tell of what will unfold finally for it's clear we live in extremely interesting times.
