The independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) is currently on toes as various stakeholders continue to pile pressure on the country's electoral body to hold free and fair elections in August.
However, there has been a storm during the commission's clearence of candidates process as many presidential aspirants were disqualified from participating in the polls for various reasons.
And one of the presidential aspirants Jimmy Wanjigi who had moved to court to challenge the decision by the country's electoral body has known his fate after the High Court made an unfavorable ruling against him.
According to the High Court, the case by Jimmy Wanjigi to seek to be allowed to be on the ballot does not have merit. This means that his case has been dismissed and his name will not be included on the ballot.

"High Court dismisses Jimi Wanjigi’s petition that sought to have his name included in the presidential ballot, says case lacks merit," Citizen TV reported.
