UDA member wants Karen Nyamu expelled from Senate over Dubai outbursts

Following her outbursts in Dubai over the weekend, Senator Karen Nyamu Njeri now faces expulsion from the UDA party and the Senate.

Jephnel Nyakwama Orina of the National Youth Congress has written to UDA Party Leader President William Ruto to demand that he dismiss the proposed senator for her behavior.

Orina stated, " As members of the National Youth Congress, we are profoundly dissatisfied and embarrassed by the Senator' s actions, who appears intoxicated and rowdy in what appears to be a nightclub.

Her actions have damaged the party, the party leader' s name, and the party' s reputation significantly.

Nevertheless, Orina wrote in his individual capacity, not on behalf of Congress or the Party, according to UDA Director of Communications Wanjohi Githae. This was on UDA's letterhead, just like the letter dated December 18 had been.

Samidoh made Edday her choice throughout, even escorting her to safety when the large security men hauled Nyamu outside. Karen claimed to have been drunk in a live stream from Dubai this morning and made a commitment to give up drinking by 2023.

"I was wasted. Pray for me, guys. I need your prayers, aki, if this love turns me into a lunatic," she remarked.
