Trouble looms for Uhuru's 2 powerful CSs as new details reveal this mess they are faulted for.

The former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya and his Treasury counterpart Ukur Yatani have been accused of plotting to take control of the newly formed Kenya Planters Cooperative Union by members of parliament from coffee-growing regions (KPCU).

The two former CS's names are listed in the institution's company registration documents, according to the 77-member Parliamentary Coffee Caucus, who are demanding an explanation.

“The former Cabinet Secretaries Ukur Yatani and Peter Munya have taken over ownership of KPCU. The Registrar of Companies clearly indicates that the two are the owners with shares which is completely unacceptable,” Caucus chairperson Gathoni Wamuchomba and Githunguri MP said.

The members of Parliament are watching to make sure they get to the bottom of the situation in order to understand how this new revelation came to be, and it comes as a major blow to them.

At a time when the administration of His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto has been working to expose the corruption of the previous regime, it is not yet clear what action the members of Parliament will take.

Nevertheless, a former KPCU board member claimed that the MPs' worries were unfounded and advised them to calm down.
