Murkomen Breaks Silence, Confirms He's In UDA Amid Speculations Over His Long Silence

Elgeyo Marakwet county senator Kipchumba Murkomen is in the United Democratic Alliance party associated with the deputy president William Ruto.

Murkomen whose silence has been raising eyebrows on whether he ditched the party or has not been in good terms with his colleagues in the party, has today broken silence and confirmed that he is a member of the Hustlers party.

Murkomen was reacting to a move by Nyandarua county senatorial aspirant John Methu Muhia to declare that he will be contesting on UDA. While reacting to this, Murkomen congratulated Methu and noted that their party is attracting youthful politicians.

His statement is a confirmation that he is in UDA despite earlier allegations that he had silently ditched the party.

Murkomen is one of Ruto's foot soldiers, he was elected on Jubilee but fell out with its leadership, he had once declared interest on going for Elgeyo Marakwet gubernatorial seat but has since gone silent on it. He is an asset in Ruto's camp.
