5 Helicopters Owned Dp Ruto Revealed By Matiangi in Parliament During Grilling over GSU withdrawal

After Withdrawal of GSU officers providing security to deputy William Ruto, interior cabinet secretary fred Matiangi was summoned by parliament to explain why the GSU were replaced by administrative police offciers.

During the grilling Matiangi revealed details of a total of 257 officers from prison department, presidential escort, GSU and AP manning properties allegedly owned by William Ruto.

Among the properties under protection were 5 helicopters and hanger based at Wilson airport. The hanger named 'the palm Wilson' is operated by Kwea Island Development limited which has a fleet of five helicopters.

Reports indicate that the company is owned by William Ruto as he uses Kwea island development helicopters for his numerous trips across the country.

Helicopters operated by KIDL are two airbus H130, Airbus H125 and a airbus H145. The airbus H145 has been controversial as it reportedly costs 1 billion and many politicians have questioned how Dp Ruto managed to raise the sum if indeed the helicopter was his.
