Kenyan political temperature is getting hotter day after day as different parties storm into different parts of the country hunting for votes. Currently, there are two eye-opening battling sides for presidency as DP William Ruto seeks to take it over from his 'divorced' Jubilee party leader Uhuru Kenyatta while Hon Raila Amolo Odinga seems to play his cards best for probably the last time he is vying for this top post.
Today, UDA team led by party leader Dr. William Ruto were in Kisii county for an obvious mission, capturing more voters of higher votes. It is his 'rain-resistant' power that catched the eyes of many Kenyans on social media.
On her Twitter account, Hon. Millicent Omanga one of Ruto's key supporters posted, " When it rains he never sneaked into his car nor did he ask for an umbrella. He got soaked in the rain just like the hustlers who went to welcome him".
In reply, Kenyans reacted to this in different opinions. Some stormed the DP while others stood with him. " It is called greed for power, a man can even kill for it. He has been on power for 9 years, yet Kenya is sinking. Didn't he know there were hustlers?", Kingoo said.
" When you're looking for a new job you must attend the interview whether raining or sunshine, excuses later. You do it for yourself not the people", Tormacs reactions.
Nathanrobe used this to remind voters of same thing done by Uhuru when hunting for votes moments back. Notably he was next to a fuel refiling station and the camera captured sh. 67 as the price of fuel, ironically Uhuru Kenyatta became the president and the price of fuel has gone up immensely. Could Ruto's scenario be the same?
Is William Ruto becoming too creative in his approaches to win Kenyans? Are Kenyans going to fall into these clever political traps used by the politicians? Feel free to drop your comment below. Read more reactions below. (screenshots)
