In Kenya, each political party has its own political symbol. The Orange Democratic Movement party in Kenya, for example, is represented by an orange, whilst Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party is represented by a wheelbarrow. However, DP William Ruto's party has been highly attacked for claiming that if DP William Ruto is elected president, he will utilize the wheelbarrow to empower youngsters.
However, UDA chairman Senator Johnson Muthama has retaliated against Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga by sending him a coded message about the meaning of the word "wheelbarrow." According to Johnson Muthama, Hon Raila should be aware that the wheelbarrow represents the importance, dignity, and respect of work in Kenya.
"@RailaOdinga should know that a wheelbarrow is the symbol of @UDAPartyKe." It represents "the worth, dignity, and respect of work in the goal of a just society." In any event, you can't compare a perishable fruit to a long-lasting wheelbarrow tool." Senator Johnson Muthama, head of the United Democratic Alliance, tweeted this.
