CS Matiang'i and President Uhuru Kenyatta in the past event
Cabinet secretary for interior Fred Matiang'i is known for his hard work and determination. He is a tough talking CS in government of Uhuru Kenyatta. Due to his efforts, he was elevated to high rank as a minister. Currently he the supper cabinet secretary who oversees all government projects.
Many politicians who are allied to deputy president are always not happy with Matiang'i. He has represented the President in many occasions which were supposed to be attended by the DP. While the President left the Country to UK, he shared his secret with the super minister Matiang'i.
The CS has come out and disclosed what Uhuru told him concerning the private life of the President.
“I got shocked the other day myself to know that our president had gotten a group of orphaned children from around Eronge and he was supporting them through school. I know people may think we are saying this for politics but it takes a very distinct heart"- Matiang’i said today in a funeral.
