Finally Kikuyu Elders Decides Who to Support Between Ruto and Raila.

In the Mt. Kenya region, which is thought to have a large number of voters, both Ruto and Raila are competing to win more votes.

The elders made the decision to completely back Raila Odinga and the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance alliance. They continued by saying that because they are royalty to the President, they cannot disagree with him and will instead back his political stance. They committed to bring enough votes to the Azimio on August 9th, 2022, to ensure Raila's victory.

First, William Ruto, the second-in-command, paid a visit to a delegation headed by Kungu Muigai, President Uhuru Kenyatta's cousin and the Dp for the entire Central area. The Akikuyu Council of Elders, led by Njoroge Minai, has rejected this.

Every candidate for president is working to increase the number of people who support them. Meetings with both spiritual leaders and local elders would have been observed.

Together with Kiambu Governor James Nyoro, Njoroge said that some mountain chiefs were breaking into Ruto's compound to look for money in the hopes of enticing voters to support him.
