The outgoing IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati has finally revealed why he took some time at his house during the bomas drama on August 15th. However he has also come clean to reveal that on that day he went to his house to seek for peace as much was going on that day.
According to the video clip seen by the writer online, the outgoing IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati left people laughing as he opened up that on the day of announcing the results he was in his house. However he went on to say that why he took sometime is because he was relaxing and taking tea as he was waiting for the door to be knocked.
This raised laughter today during the launching of post evaluation of 9th August election, at the same time he revealed that as he waited for his door to be knocked no one knocked it , he also revealed how the IEBC officials went through tough times and that should be dealt with in the coming elections to ensure free and fair elections.
