Gatundu South Member Of parliament Moses Kuria has met with Kiambu county Members of county assembly. The MP has discussed the way forward for the Kiambu governor James Nyoro after he caused chaos at Mang'u High School where tallying of Juja by election votes was being carried out. Kuria has said that the MCA's will concurrently move to impeach the governor.
"We have held several discussions with Kiambu MCAs regarding the criminal conduct of Governor James Nyoro. As the DPP takes up the matter following the directions of the IEBC, the MCAs will concurrently move to impeach Dr Nyoro", stated Moses Kuria.
The IEBC has asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigation to take action against governor Nyoro after he misconducted himself forcing the tallying to be temporarily stopped. Juja by elections was a race between the People's Empowerment Party PEP candidate George Koimburi and Jubilee candidate Susan Waititu among other contestants. George Koimburi has continued to real huge votes from the tallied votes, a clear indication that he could soon be announced the next Juja MP.
