Following a gunshot incident that took place in Kimilili, investigators from the Bungoma police station are presently conducting a search for the Kimilili member of parliament, Honorable Didmus Barassa.
It has been disclosed in a news report that has been supplied by a trustworthy source of information that the well-known politician is suspected of opening fire in an event that resulted in the death of Honorable Khaemba's Bodyguard.
According to the reports, a fight broke out between the two parties, and then the well-known politician began firing his weapon. Sadly, it has come to light that the man's gunshot may have struck one of the bodyguards protecting a well-known politician from the area. The Bodyguard was brought to the hospital, but unfortunately he did not survive his time there.
To address this matter, the National Police Service has issued a demand for the well-known lawmaker to turn himself in to the authorities as soon as possible. It has been disclosed that the prominent politician is sought in connection with the event, as indicated by the reports that have been provided by the National Police Service (NPS).
While reacting to this incident, Kenyans who took to their various social media accounts to express their opinions and suggestions on the matter have called upon the inspector general of police as well as the director of criminal investigations to make sure that the well-known politician is charged if they discover that he is guilty.
Despite the fact that the nation is in the midst of holding its general elections, the majority of Kenyans have been quoted as saying that it is really regrettable that the government has not yet taken action to address the growing number of corrupt politicians in the country.
