Narok County senator Ledama Olekina is one of the stronghold supporters of Azimio movement from Southrift. Today, he left many Kenyans talking online after advising President Ruto not to sideline the County commissioners, Deputy County Commissioners and Chiefs.
His statement comes after team of local administrative officers including chiefs matched out of an event hosted by Maragua member of parliament Mary Wamaua. The parliamentarian who is allied to United Democratic Alliance (UDA) castigated them over executing their duties. She reprimanded the county commissioner for serving vested interest at the expenses of the people. The crowd cheered and as such this forced the local administrative officer to quit the venue.
Narok senator advised the President William Samoei Ruto that he should not humiliate the civil servants including County commissioners and the rest citing that they are the one helping him manage the country.
