Jubilee party today announced their intentions to kick out the Deputy President William Ruto from the party. This is a series of desperate attempts from the Presidents allied Members of parliament to derail the DP from assending to power come 2022.
What Jubilee has not learned is, the days when leaders were choosed through board room meetings are long behind us. The old typical politicians of the last 4 to 5 decades are not the solutions to the current political problems in our country. Jubilee completely refused to accommodate contrary opinions of the members who asked honest questions about the party future, refused to have AGM, marginalized the DP allied MPs who seem to relate well with the supporters on the ground.
With UDA increasing popularity in Mt Kenya, most of the aspirants in the upcoming elections will want to distance themselves with a party that has lost touch with the supporters on the ground. More worse no aspirant from Mt Kenya will want to associate themselves with former PM Raila Ondinga and expect to win an elective political post, that will be swimming against the tide.
Lastly the continuous fights directed to the DP is attracting alot of sympathy from soo my electorates. There is still no evidence of any grave mistake he has done to the party to deserve the cruel treatment. His demeanor and patience has also been viewed my many as a very good character for occupying the house on the hill and being the commander in chief.
