Things Will Go South, See What Rigathi Gachagua Will Allegedly Start Doing If They Disagree With Ruto

If they win, Deputy President William Ruto should not be deceived into thinking that his running mate Rigathi Gachagua will let him rule in peace, especially if he starts breaking his pledges, he has been warned.

This comes amid concerns among Ruto's supporters that Gachagua will be a troublesome deputy who will try to destabilize Ruto's presidency after the August polls, whether or not Ruto betrays him.

Despite his denials that he is aggressive and likely to cause turmoil in Ruto's leadership, the DP is now being informed that he has signed a contract that requires him to behave in a certain way or face consequences.

If the DP tries to backtrack on his commitments to the region, Nyeri politician Brian Theuri believes he will soon find himself fighting a united camp of all Mt Kenya leaders, led by Gachagua.

"Gachagua is an unpleasant leader who is noted for taking command of his domain. He may mobilize leaders from his own neighborhood against Ruto if things go bad, and there will be no difference between him and Ruto the DP "He revealed this to The Standard.

However, Gachagua denied having any plans to make trouble for Ruto on Tuesday, adding that as a former uniformed man, he will obey orders and respectfully serve the President if Ruto's quest is successful.

He has the backing of Ruto's allies in the area, who have applauded his selection and expressed hope that he will both help Ruto win the Mt Kenya vote and fulfill his pledges once in office.

"He is the epitome of the bottom... Ndindi Nyoro, the Kiharu MP, told the same paper, "He is firm and clever, and he will represent us."
