Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru has claimed that Deputy President William Ruto's firm stand on small parties of the Mount Kenya Region is a stabling block to his following from the region.
Waruguru who stated that she is first listening to her electorates before deciding on which camp to join ahead of the general elections, argued that the residents and the party leaders across the region are not happy with his call to fold the small parties for the sake of UDA.
She went on to caution the Second in Command against trusting the Mt Kenya allies within his inner circle alleging that they might be smiling with him in the meantime, but criticize him later.
"When Ruto started fighting with Mt Kenya over smaller parties, is when his curve started going down. I want to tell him that you should not be confused by those 'frauds' from Mt Kenya who have supported you. This is because the hustler politics is one man guitar, one man army," said Waruguru.
She revealed that Ruto's camp has been reaching out to her to join the camp while Raila's team is yet to approach her, adding that she will make an informed decision after exclusively listening to her constituents.
