The Homabay gubernatorial race is seen to be a two horse contest between Women Representative Gladys Wanga vying on Orange Democratic Movement Party against Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero who is vying as an independent candidate in the upcoming August polls.
The poll was done through telephonic interview and the sample was done accross the constituencies within Homabay County.
The survey has established that Women Representative Gladys Wanga is on the lead with a higher rating of 57.3 percent while Independent Candidate Dr Evans Kidero comes second with 39.6 percent.
Some respondents which represents 3.0 percent were undecided on who they prefer to be elected as the next Govermor for Homabay County.
This poll is released just few days after Raila Odinga and his Azimio La Umoja campaign team took their rally to Homabay County where they backed the candidature of Orange Democratic Movement Party representative Gladys Wanga in the upcoming polls.
