As several political parties sign new members, political alignments continue to dominate the country's atmosphere. With this in mind, Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi has suffered a major setback after Hamisi Constituency Member of Parliament Hon. George Khaniri defected to the opposition.
This comes shortly after President Uhuru Kenyatta called Western members of Parliament to the state house.
Raila Amollo Odinga, the head of the Orange Democratic Party, is overjoyed after receiving the sectors from the Amani National Congress.
This politician left the Amani National Congress party just days after its leader struck a coalition agreement with the United Democratic Alliance, which is led by Kenya's deputy president, Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto.
It is unclear where this politician will return home, but we do know that he will most likely join the orange democratic party. What are your thoughts on their country's present political alignments?
