The second president of Kenya late Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi had married his colleague in the teaching profession, the late Lena Moi. They had 8 children including a set of twins. They are, Jennifer Chemutai Kositany, Late Jonathan Moi, John Mark Moi, Raymond Moi, Doris Moi Philip Moi, Gideon Kipsiele Moi and June Moi.
Today we'll focus on the late Moi's Second born daughter, Doris Moi. She is a twin sister to Philip Moi. She was born in the year 1962 in Kabarak, Nakuru County. She went to Nairobi primary school then joined Limuru Girls High School for her secondary education. Later on, she went to Imani School in Thika, Kiambu County to study the British curriculum and also had a chance to study in Australia.
Dorris married his brother's Safari rally co-driver Ibrahim Choge who was the son of the former assistant minister Simeon Choge though it is alledged that the former president never wanted to be that way. Unfortunately, Ibrahim Choge died in a road accident on the 8th of June 1998. Doris now leads a private life as a wealthy Widow, owning a tea estate in Nandi County. In August 2019, Doris had a meeting with the former prime minister Raila Odinga in Raila's Capitol Hill office where they discussed matters to do with climate change which Doris is so passionate about.
