The former Prime Minister honorable Raila Odinga has crafted a new team that will help him in his ambition to take over the Presidency from President Uhuru Kenyatta. He has recruited some new faces in his campaigns for the 2022 general elections.
He has made a good strategy in the Ukambani region where he has gotten the support of Governors like Charity Ngilu, Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua. In the Coastal region, the ODM party leader has received more new comers who will be of great help to him.
In Kisii County, he has charged the Governor James Ongwae together with Simba Arati to help him in bringing in more votes. They are politicians like Gideon Mungaro who is the Chief Administrative Secretary of Lands. He will therefore work hand in hand with Governor Hassan Joho.
In Northern Kenya, the former Prime Minister has the support of John Munyes who is the Cabinet Secretary of Petroleum. It is also believed that honorable Ukur Yattani and Ali Roba will also join his team.
There are also very many politicians from the Mount Kenya region who are supporting him. The team will be formerly unveiled on the day that he will declare his interest for the Presidency.
