Today , 28th September, Kimimili member of parliament Hon. Didmus Barasa paid a courtesy call to president William Ruto at State House Nairobi.

The outspoken legislator shared photos of his hearty interaction with the head of state at State House Nairobi.

The second serving member of parliament was reelected on a UDA party ticket after trouncing down his close competitor Brian Khaemba of DAP- K party.

Didmus Barasa was among Western region leaders who popularized William Ruto's presidential bid in the region during the electioneering period. He traversed different parts of Bungoma county and larger Western region wooing local residents to back Ruto's presidential bid.

Legislator Barasa is facing murder charges of his competitor's, Khaemba personal aide. He is charged of shooting and killing Khaemba's aide during the August general election.
