Just two days after Ruto landed in Kajiado County, a delegation of UDA defectors from the same area welcomed Raila warmly in their meeting which is geared at ensuring that they decamp from UDA and join Raila Odinga’s party which has continued to gain popularity in the same locality over the few days.

While receiving them in the party, the secretary-general Edwin Sifuna claimed that the recent visit by Ruto to the region did not shake the ODM superiority in the region since the area governor has openly declared that he will support Raila Odinga for the top seat in the 2022 polls.
Raila who was delighted to welcome them to the party claimed that Kenyans are welcomed to Kasarani on Friday to witness history in the making when he will state the way forward on the 2022 polls which are slowly approaching.
