Taking to his Facebook page on Thursday afternoon the former Ethics and Anti-Corruption leader termed the departed Magufuli as a selfless and courageous leader.
He urged the Tanzanias to take heart as what happened was God's plans and that everyone had joined them in mourning the departed soul.
Lumumba said Magufuli's legacy will forever remains in the history books.

Reports from the Tanzanian government have it that the departed Magufuli succumbed to chronic heart disease after battling it for almost 10 years.
Strong claims however have it that the late John Pombe Magufuli succumbed to deadly Coronavirus pandemic after battling it for about Two weeks.

The late Magufuli made headlines after downplaying the presence of COVID-19 pandemic in Tanzania.
He said the pandemic was defeated in his country after holding prayers after which he encouraged his citizens to continue with their normal lives.
