For over the past few years especially since his political master Uhuru Kenyatta came to differ with his Deputy William Ruto on matters of politics and governance, Mutahi Ngunyi has been very vocal on matters of politics and 2022 succession.
He has been one of the top critics of DP Ruto and his bid to run for presidency with higher hopes of succeeding his boss Uhuru Kenyatta.
And today, through one of his official online handles, Ngunyi has made it very clear that his top political candidate for the top race is the ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
He has even made more clear that he would vote for him if any case the general elections were held, urging his fellow Kikuyus to consider doing the same.
We know how hard he has been trying to keep people from Mount Kenya region away from DP Ruto who has been making major political waves with his hustler nation narrative in the region.
Even though, it has always appeared as a very hard task for him to do so but still trying to apply any available means to succeed with his plans against DP Ruto.
