
Senator of Elgeyo Markwet county Kipchumba Murkomen who is one of the close allies of Deputy President Ruto has declared that Kalonzo Musyoka is now suffering in Azimio coalition because of what he was promised. Murkomen revealed that Kalonzo Musyoka was lured to join the Azimio One Kenya Alliance coalition after being told that he will be given a chance to deputize Raila Odinga but as of now things are different.
Speaking during a special interview on NTV news night, he revealed that Kalonzo Musyoka is following the instructions he was given and that is why he is boycotting the issue of vetting the candidate to deputize Raila Odinga. He revealed that in Kenya Kwanza team, DP Ruto did not promise anyone a position in his next government but he called upon all the leaders in the team to work together ahead of the 2022 polls. He also revealed that Kalonzo Musyoka should be respected by the Azimio coalition simply because he has more than 3 million votes in the country.
