Martha Karua who was elected recently to negotiate for the Mt Kenya region as the spokesperson had hinted that they might join Ruto but will not fold their parties. According to her, they will not break their small parties to join into the UDA party for democracy must prevail when all parties are together.
According to Martha Karua, they cannot afford to break their parties for Kenya is a multi party state something that was fought for hard. She is of the view that they will not fold parties to join UDA a confirmation that they would support Ruto though their parties.
If Karua was to join ODM then she would say she would not fold her party to join ODM. The fact that she is saying she cannot hold her party to join UDA just confirms of their political inclination moving into the 2022 general election.
However as always it's a matter of wait and see of what will unfold. If Martha Karua and team will fold parties to join the UDA party ahead of the 2022 general election only time will tell. However her revelation reveal they were considering supporting UDA party.
