The political matrix which entails politicians moving from one faction towards the other ahead of the next general elections is evidently shaping up.
Despite the fact that many anticipate a two horse race between Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto, alot many happen between now and the election date that may render one as the obvious winner even before the casting of the votes
A good example is what happened earlier on Monday after a key ODM nominated legislator ditched Raila Odinga to join Deputy President William Ruto's camp. This is none other that Wilson Sossion. Well, Wilson Sossion is not just an ordinary MP since he the former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) boss.
Sossion had held this position for over a decade whereby he was very powerful and vocal amongst the teachers in Kenya. Well, popularity cannot fade within one day. By this, Wilson Sossion is still influencial amongst the teachers and amongst the various unions teachers union.
During his speech, Wilson Sossion made it clear that he will ensure that all Kenyan unions rally behind DP Ruto come 2022. This is thus a big blow to Raila Odinga since Kenyan workers form a good percentage of the voters who will play a vital role come 2022
