Kenya's Dp Ruto continues with his campaign rallies on the Coast. At Kaloleni in Kilifi County, the Dp meet with the leaders and residents in this area where he urged Kenyans to walk together with him in the August elections journey. This will help in making a government that understands the language of the common mwananchi. A government that understands the challenges gone through by the people and comes up with measures to solve the issues once and for all.
He made it clear that many of the challenges that Kenyans are facing are a result of some leaders being in a position of not understanding poverty. He said that these leaders have never gone hungry thus they cannot understand what the common mwananchi is going through.
Ruto said that in 2018 after the general elections, the price of maize four was at ksh.75 before the handshake between President Uhuru and Raila. After the handshake with Raila being the chief adviser of the president, the price is now 250 as Dp Ruto said.
Ruto said that if this is the kind of advice Raila is giving to the president, he doesn't even deserve a herding job. This is because if he gets the chance to lead this nation, he will direct the price to be ksh.500 per 2kg packet of maize flour.
