Miguna has denied what many Kenyans have been saying that he is no longer true to his word on supporting corrupt individuals. Some Kenyans have been likening Miguna to a typical Kenyan politician who is after their interests and does not have principles. In a recent interview with KDRTV, Miguna said that nothing has changed about Dr Ruto and he believes he is corrupt but he will support him for the 2022 elections.
Miguna has said that one of the politicians who has changed and are no longer true to their principles is Raila Odinga.
“I am the only person who has not shifted. Raila is the one who left the struggle to work with the side he opposed. After I was arrested, Raila conspired with Uhuru Kenyatta to ensure that Uhuru helps him get the presidency in 2022,” Miguna said.
Contrary to Raila, Miguna says that he has not changed his perspective about DP William Ruto. According to Miguna, Raila is a betrayer and that is why he has chosen to endorse Ruto’s presidency even though he is corrupt.
“I have not changed a thing. I have called William Ruto corrupt and I still call him corrupt. He is not clean and I did not say he is good. I am saying Raila is worse. Raila has always betrayed his supporters. I cannot pick a traitor,” Miguna claimed.
