Raila, Ruto Expected at Bomas as Wajackoyah and Mwaure Arrive Ahead of The Presidential Winner Announcement

As the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission finalizes the tallying of the presidential election, it has emerged that the electoral body's chairperson Wafula Chebukati is expected to announce the final figures for the presidential race. Details say that probably from 1 o'clock the country could be made aware of who will be the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya.

Among the criteria the presidential candidates has to meet so as to emerge the winner for the presidential contest is garnering 50 per cent plus 1 votes and 25 per cent in 24 counties.

Further details indicates that all the four presidential candidates are expected to be at the Bomas of Kenya including UDA's Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga, Roots Party's George Wajackoyah and the Agano Party's Waihiga Mwaure ahead of the declaration of the winner for the presidential race.

It also emerges that IEBC has since reserved special seats at Bomas of Kenya for Ruto, Raila, Wajackoyah and Mwaure and their families.

Prof. George Wajackoyah and David Mwaure have since arrived at Bomas. The two candidates embraced after arriving at Bomas of Kenya, where IEBC is expected to announce presidential results.
