Governor Susan Kihika Makes her First Field Visit in Nakuru Town

Governor Susan Kihika is the new governor for Nakuru county under the UDA party. She was sworn in and she took over from Lee Kinyanjui. As the new governor, Hon Susan Kihika made her first field visit to the people in Nakuru town on her second day in office.

She officially took over the gubernatorial position on Monday, 29th August. This visit, on 30th August, was a start for her to work for the people of Nakuru. She promised the people that she will fulfill all that she promised to then during the campaign.

During the visit, she visited the bus terminals and hospitals. She was inspecting the working environment and conditions in the areas in order to come up with ways to improve the environments.

She promised to provide shades in the areas for people to comfortably rest and maybe wait for the bus or matatus. She also promised them security, water and proper sanitation in the town. She plans to improve the city in accordance to the people's line of wants.

Susan Kihika promised the people of Nakuru that she would go back to them after a couple of months do as to commission the promised projects and improvements during her campaigns. She also thanked the people for turning up in large numbers to vote.
